Karakteristik Inovatif Bahan Ajar dalam Menjawab Tantangan Pembelajaran Generasi Modern Pendidikan Abad 21

Abstract

                The rapid advancement of technology and the transformation of educational systems in the 21st century have significantly influenced students’ learning characteristics and instructional practices. Teaching materials are no longer limited to printed texts but have evolved into innovative learning media that support interactive, flexible, and meaningful learning experiences. This study aims to analyze the innovative characteristics of teaching materials in addressing the learning challenges of modern generations. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method using a literature review approach by examining books, journals, and scientific articles related to innovative teaching materials and modern learning. The findings indicate that innovative teaching materials possess several important characteristics, including interactivity, technology integration, visual attractiveness, contextual learning, flexibility, collaboration support, and the ability to develop critical and creative thinking skills. In addition, innovative teaching materials positively influence students’ motivation, engagement, and learning outcomes. Therefore, educators are required to continuously develop innovative teaching materials that are relevant to the needs of modern learners in the digital era.
